Christmas is full of single-use plastic, too many recyclable good get placed in the normal trash and the volumes of general waste soar.

1.    Newspaper Gift Wrap
Newspaper is a GREAT way of keeping wrapping recyclable. It’s super cheap, thinand easy to wrap. We’d recommending choosing the pages carefully but you can’tgo wrong with this style of wrapping!

2.    Use Glass Jars
Not only do these look super cute, but there’s nothing going to waste when youuse these. There’s always a cheeky empty glass sat waiting on a shelf to be reused?Not got any? Start saving them from your food shop and you’ll be surprised howquickly they stack up!
And what’s more, your family and friends can reuse them again!

4. Avoid using plastic tape
Using tape will mean that wrapping quickly becomes un-recyclable. Try sealing the presents with string, folds and clips or get creative and use magnets! 

5. Reuse old wrapping paper
My parents always used to use Christmas wrapping paper from the year before to wrap stocking presents when we were children. Not only did this mean that we didn’t have to use new paper, but it also didn’t match the rest of the presents so when we believed in Father Christmas, his secrets were kept!
